Does history really matter? After all, you can’t go back and change it. It’s there, forever written in stone. All you have to look forward to is the future. The past is simply that. The past. It’s there. You study it in class, and hear stories from others. But you can’t do anything about it.
So what makes it so important? Some say to learn about it. But sometimes, when you try something again trying to not do what you did before, you do it worse.
Why learn about it? It’ll just end up, one way or another, making you mad at something or someone.
So, I ask again, does history even matter? Like I said, it’s there. You can’t touch it or change it. It’s just there. For some, something to be proud about. For others, something to a ashamed about.
The future…well that’s different…
