“Rose! Come back!” Joe shouted angrly. I bit my lip, so I couldn’t yell at him, or scream in pain from my ankle. I quickly jumped over a ditch, and kept running. Then I heard rocks tummbling, and joe shouting, surprised. I guess he found the ditch.
I ran on, avoiding roots. The last thing I needed was to trip and fall on my face. I’d have to take the long way to Holly’s house, but if it ment loosing Joe, then the long way it is.
I quickly checked my cell to see if Holly texted me while I was running. She hadn’t.
hang on. i got delayed, I texted to Holly.

This is why mom needs to give me my car keys back! I could’ve avoided all of this if I’d drove to Holly’s! But nooo! She just had to take my fucking keys! Now look! I’ll just have to take them back when I get home.
