Haha, totally different than what I had in mind, since I meant Harrigan to be a girl. This works too, and I’ll have to think on it. Gotta’ hand it to ya on the sci-fi jargon stuff.

In all honesty, I never write girls because I still don’t understand how they think (complex people, they are). Even so, I don’t see any reason why this implies that Harrigan is a particular gender. True enough, Joe is in his/her quarters, but then he could be a close friend?

And as for the jargon, I’d love to explain it all but the word count is a cruel master.
