Equilibrium

When you get in a fight with one of your friends, some friends back you up, and some friends back them up. Equilibrium.

I was talking to my friends, and I got in an argument with one. He was calling me a nobody, and I threw my achievements in his face. And he called me a nobody. Then, my mate got involved. He was one of my best friends, and he turns to me and says, “Stop talking bull.” That was the final straw and I was out of there. When no one is on your side, you feel isolated and cut off.

And then, the next day, I wanted to take the television away from the XBox and take it upstairs to watch. He does this all the time, and my Mum always lets him, so I saw no issue. He starts going crazy, and the fight goes to my Mum, and she lets him win.

I know that I’m meant to see that I shouldn’t care because I’m more mature.

But for the seventeen thousandth time, I just see favouritism.

So, I locked myself in my room. There are times when you just need someone to be on your side, and I just didn’t have one.
