This is just a beautiful sentence, that reads like a poem with the finality of a knock knock joke. Its just wonderful.

Very dramatic and tragic on a couple of levels. I was confused cause I read Fish’s prequel first, which now that I read this one doesn’t seem to quite go. This reads like it’s the person’s first kill and very effective at getting across the horror and exhileration of that act.
