We didn’t even talk much on a daily basis. I came into work three days a week to help out at the NGO and most of my work did not require interaction with my co-workers. I spent my days reading dense cases from the African Commission on Human’s and People’s Rights, while everyone else in the same room was working on media coverage and trying to keep Egyptians, as well as the international community, up to date on human rights violations throughout the Arab world.
