How old is this soldier? Makes me wonder. Good story, makes me second-guess going into the military at all.

Hey thanks for commenting! The age of the soldier is supposed to be ambiguous, as well as which war he actually fought. It was more designed as a sort of a thinking story, than a standalone piece of fiction. I glad you like it!
