Don’t let him fool you, ElshaHawk. What happened was the vacuum cleaner posed as Darcey’s publicist, “Mr. Ima Hoover” and tried to sue her author for putting Darcey in perilous story lines and making her look unnecessarily foolish . . . It’s a long story. One day I’ll have to tell it.

I’m likin’ this. Short, yes, but I think it works; could definitely be a nice springboard into something interesting.
