The middle dialog felt maybe a little disjointed, but it seemed to work for this whole mystery thing. Nice job picking up the thread of the story and running with it.

I can see what you mean, but I couldn’t think of a way to better describe the conversation I visualise – two people having a slow conversation while the last of the sun dips below the horizon.
