Kyle started forward, happy to go to her. But Tara quickly grabbed his arm, pulling him back.
“Are you crazy?! You can’t go! If you go, she’ll skin you alive, and roast your bones!’ Tara hissed.
“Suuuure,” Kyle said, rolling his eyes. Tara’s eyes were narrowed into slits.
“I’m not joking Kyle. She will kill you. She’ll kill you, and laugh as she does,” Tara growled.
“You’re the crazy one! She’s just a harmless woman!” Kyle spat. He yanked his arm away from Tara, and ran across the clearing towards the stunning woman who smiled at him.
“Kyle!” Tara’s fadding voice screamed. But now, Kyle had reached the woman.
“Hello, my name is Alice. Won’t you come inside,” the woman said. Kyle nodded, eagerly. Tara watched him enter the blue home. She waited and waited. But he never came out.
