Great descriptions. So, is this a child scout? A point soldier? He seems very young. Or is that just a trait of his people? This seems like a set up piece. What’s going to happen next. Will he meet some sort of trouble? Will he be joined by others of his own kind? Is he the enemy? I have lots of questions. That’s a good thing. Well done!

I did read this. I like the change of perspective, as it quietly answers a lot of questions quickly without having to get it all across through the lens of the “primitives”. Lovely writing, all very clear, I thought. Definitely has that classic sci-fi feel to it.

I may sequel eventually, but stumped at the moment. Besides this is definitely your series, so don’t hold up on my account.
