It was good up until that last line. What does a 13th century painter have to do with the story. And I don’t think he would be speaking 21st century colloquial English. Or am I missing something?
It’s the works of a lesser known crime author; Michael Connelly. He writes about an LAPD detective called Hieronymus Bosch. His mother had a thing for thirteenth century painters. I kinda threw the last line in there for myself.
Oh, Hercule Poirot. And Sherlock Holmes! All that’s missing is Father Brown. I’ve never heard of Hieronymus Bosch. The name alone is enough to spark my interest. Oh, and I hope Poirot doesn’t find out Caine thinks he’s French. Poirot’s Belgian, if you please. :) Oh, why is Holmes investigating Poirot? Who hired Holmes to do so? Lots of questions…perhaps a sequel &/or prequel are in order? Well done!
