This is a story overflowing with detail. The character’s seemingly emotionless reaction to what is happening and the careful word choice prove you truly understand the concept “Show, don’t tell.”
It’s a good story,something like lycanthropy from the inside, I suppose. The “captain of my own soul” metaphor is particularly effective and evocative.
My only comment is that his “voice” seems to change from the last installment. He seems more educated, using proper grammer and more sophisticated vocabulary. It may be intentional with the “change of ownership”.
