This is getting really good. Is Spock not overwhelmend by all the memories and knowledge? Does he have any discomfort? Where is the White Tree of Gondor? :o) I like the idea that Gandalf’s mind was more like several minds and I’m curious as to why that is so. I’m curious about something else too. Since Gandalf isn’t a passive recipient, did Spock have to put his hands on Gandalf’s head to initiate the meld or could they stand apart? I can’t wait to see where all this is leading. Great job!
Thank you so much for the compliment. Regarding the questions that you asked, I will be touching on some of them. I likely won’t be addressing the White Tree. Please realize that I’m still skipping over vast amounts of action and detail. In that list of names beginning with Eregion, ending with Mordor, there is presumably a lot of stuff going on there where Gandalf’s memories are being replayed and Spock is sorting through them trying to figure out what is relevant and what is not. If you’re at all curious about Gandalf’s memories in those areas… write them. ;-)
Oooh…that’s a challenge. I may take you up on it later. But I want to get a better feel for what you’re writing first. I love the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings Trilogy, but my depth of knowledge isn’t as good as it could be. I’ll have to think on it a bit and maybe re-read… Gandalf’s memories definitely give a person lots of room to play. :o) Keep up the great work!
