Wow! It almost sounds as if the “stage” is a metaphor for life and with each passing visit, more of life has passed. Only one little thing made me pause. I had a hard time visualizing just two walls. If he is seeing himself as an audience viewing a stage wouldn’t he see three walls? Just a thought. A very short piece that got me thinking. I like it. :o)

Feels very symbolic, even if at this point in the day I’m not grasping the meaning. The light of contemplation and imagination perhaps?
