Good plot for a fic. The writing style isn’t elaborate or new, but very strongly executed. To me, this Fic is made unique by the narrator’s tone – annoyed, exasperated, anything but sympathetic – communicated perfectly through a few choice words. S/He’s sick of this shit, even though it’s clear from her/his actions (read: cake-making) that s/he’s trying not to be.

Minor typo – “He said he’d visit me.”

Ouch. Denial or loss of memory? Crazy? or pretending? This would make a good plot for a story. Nice work.
