Thank you for the compliment. I always hesitate to write sequels to another writer, for fear I might not write something that fits what he or she written or has in mind. As for another seqeul? It will be interesting to see if anyone comes up with one, present companny included. :o) Thanks again.
shadowlight, put your fears aside. I take it as a compliment that something that I wrote inspired you enough to extend it. I really wish more people would do so. That’s one of the things that makes this site so very interesting.
As it happens, this sequel of yours doesn’t particularly mesh with what I had in mind, and that there are certain elements that have substantial and novel (perhaps even troubling) implications that I would have avoided. I will be posting my own Scene 4 in the next few days.
Thanks for taking the time to read and to comment (and to put my fears to rest). I’m glad you enjoyed it, even if it doesn’t really mesh with what you’ve got in mind, LOL. I am enjoying your story and can’t wait to see where you are going with scene 4. Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate them.
I’m glad you enjoyed this, Luke. I hadn’t really thought about entering this in the Newton challenge because I’d already entered one and because this is a sequel to someone else’s work, but it makes me happy that you think it would have been perfect for it. :o) Thank you very much for reading and commenting. I appreciate it.
That was funny. At first I thought it was just a retelling of Ring stuff, but the Spock with Gadolf thing is hilarious. Nicely done and a spot-on rendition of both characters.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read and comment on this for me. I appreciate it and I glad you enjoyed it. I had fun writing it and if you thought it was funny and that the characters were accurate, that makes me happy. God bless. :)
