I may have misunderstood the challenge, I chose key scenes of both The Wizard of Oz and the Dune saga. The first was more Dune than Oz, the rest were ambiguous . could apply to both worlds, Is it the Wizard or Paul Atreides? are they the witches or Bene Gesserit sisters? is the girl Ghanima or Dorothy?

I haven’t seen Dune (couldn’t sit through it), but I did catch the Oz references. (I love that movie.). I think you did just fine. :o)

Okay, I feel better about not following, since I hadn’t realized it was a mash-up, and I’m not familiar with Dune. Neat take on the challenge, and borrowed elements aside you created a very dramatic, tortured scene with some lovely heroic overtones.
