I liked this a lot. It has a lot of tension and action and I want to know what happens next. Will he be caught? Only one thing confused me. When you say “Plagueborn didn’t tend to be fast, but he didn’t take any unnecessary chances”, he refers back to Plagueborn. That’s not what you intended, is it? There are a lot of ’he’s in the paragraph that sort of confused me. LOL) Anyway, I really liked this. Well done.
