“We’re not unplugging Daniel, he’s a family member now.”

“Daniel is a goddamned lamp!

“He’s your brother and you will show him some respect!”

“It’s a cheap plastic thing that is blinding me, that’s what it is. Look at that glare.”

“Robert, don’t say such things!”

“Mom, I tried to be nice, but your going crazy in your old age. It’s a damn lamp! We’re not related!”

“I know he’s… adopted, but try to look at it from his point of view. It’s scary coming into a new family.”

“Not when you’re a lamp! Get it off my desk.”

“No. How about you do it yourself if it bothers you so much?”

“Now that’s not fair! Hey! Don’t walk away! HEY!”
