I love Horror/suspense stories, and when kids are evil, it is downright spooky… kids are suppose to be so innocent and pure, so it is so easy to get sideswiped by this. This is the ultimate horror story… even better than dolls coming to life, or killer clowns.
That is brutal. The beginning felt a bit frantic, which works with his state of getting ready quickly, but still made for a slightly more difficult read. Is the sore bothering him supposed to hint at guilt? Cause otherwise he seems pretty callous.
Is this the same kid? He is called Timmy in the prequel and the sequel that Krultar wrote, but Wayne in this one. Otherwise, good series. I agree that the story is clear.
@Jae I read Kurt Vonnegut’s Breakfast of champions, when i was in the seventh grade, and the main character’s wife drinks some drano one morning for breakfast. I have been wanting to use that ever since. I thought since hydrochloric acid and scotch were the same color it would work. Sorry if my story dredged up any bad memories that M. Knight Shamalan may have started, but you should read Vonnegutt. You know how they say that given an infinite number of typerwriters and an infinite number of monkeys they would eventualy recreate the entire works of sheakspere, I dont think an infinite number of Shamalan’s with an infinite number of macprobooks could even reproduce one of vonnegutt’s stories.
