I wasn’t worried about the tools. We’ll say repairing the combine, maybe. The sentence about selling the crop felt disordered. Maybe ‘once sold’ at the beginning would make it clearer? And as long as I’m nitpicking, why does his wife ask him if dinner is ready? All that aside, I liked it. I felt like I was there in the field with him feeling that sense of accomplishment. Ominous ending too.
