Yeah, even when you know what’s coming it’s still an anxious event. “We need to talk” has become such a break-up cliche. Anyone who hears that knows the bad times are coming, or the good if you’re happy about it.

Well told. The 3rd paragraph needs to be fixed up (‘is’ for ‘us’ I suspect). It also looks like you’re using italics for internal thoughts, except that your final paragraph doesn’t follow that pattern.

Lovely entry. Definitely high anxiety. Relationship stuff tends to kick the freak-out-o-meter up a couple notches.
