this has a lovely free, flowing, hippy, flowery, questioning, alternate reality feel to it. I picture long long skirts flowing over bare feet that skip along in flowers like a laundry detergent commercial.. I like it, I just think you deviated to soon in your thinking to a new topic without giving full weight to any one question. It’s trippy. But sometimes our minds are just trippy.
I see something completely different. One person, after being dealt a cruel injustice. Perhaps standing in a bleak city, surveying the cityscape, as the sun peeks through rainclouds (hence the rainbow) during a light shower. Grappeling with the questions of why and how – resulting in a denial of any sort of purpose or plan or order as a flawed way of dealing with the pain.
Also, they’re probably listening to Yoko Kanno’s song, “What’s It Really For?”
