mm tasty tasty cliffhanger. you’ve done a really great job of throwing in a ton of smaller elements (Jimmy, the narrator’s mother) alongside the more immediate picture. love it.

This definately had a First Blood (ie Rambo 1) feel to the running and hiding in the forest part. I agree with the other comments that the last sentence is a great cliffhanger.
