Zoo Attack
I ran, pumping every ounce of engry into my legs. I had to get out of here. I had to. I pass empty cage after empty cage. Cages that should have been holding the zoo animals. But bars were ripped off, and glass containers broken.
My lungs burned as I ran. Without my inhaler, I was done for. Then, something grabbed my hair, and pulled.
I screamed. It felt like my hair was being ripped out. Then, something started rapping around my body, tightening as I struggled. A snake. It’s bright glowing ruby eyes stared into mine. It opened it’s mouth, and lunged.
I opened my eyes, startled. I looked around to find myself in my living room. The TV was on, a movie finishing.
“It was just a dream. Well, no more horror movies before bed,” I said. I turned the TV off, and opened the window. Though I quickly shut it. What was that smell? Rotten flesh?!
