Wonderful details. Not sure if he is having a psychotic episode or if this is a horror piece. Either way, it was a good read. Not sure how a phone sits redly though. My only nitpick would be not using white space, ie blank lines, between thoughts and paragraphs.

Really cool story. Felt like a Twilight Zone episode throughout. Great mysterious woman, and I liked the hint at the end as to her nature with the phone call.
