I like the last line, and how said Piano Man knows everyone’s lives and yet nobody cares for his own.

I think this second part did a much better job of “hiding” the lyrics than the first part. Overall, a good representation of the song.

I liked the rhythm in the first part. Had a nice feel to it.

This is definitely better than part one, although the first paragraph still references the song very, very heavily…

With the second paragraph you begin to pull away, and it gets a lot better – the description of the piano as carniverous is your own interpretation, and it’s strong.

And you kind of have to love the closing line…! MH :)
