I like the way the kind of nagging tone (yadda, yadda, yadda), with the italics to add a whiney teenage quality to it, then gets turned around on Darren with that italicised ‘could’ in the penultimate sentence.

It’s a nifty and original take on the challenge title!

Narrative really brings out the character. Like the twist at the end!
