Olivia drove to the manor with great relief. She was happy to have Johnny back. Ever since he had become clean, he was a better, more responsible partner. He spent more time with the kids, and even taught Johnny Jr. how to fish. He was the perfect dad, and the perfect lover. She was proud of him. He had become his old self again, and had completely removed the “other” Johnny from his system.
Today, she would accept his engagement. Johnny had been asking her for a while, and now that he was clean, she knew that their relationship could work again. She parked her car in the garage and unlocked the front door.
She waltzed into the kitchen, eager to finally tell him her decision. She called his name, and he didn’t answer. She called again, and in return there was a grunt. Olivia walked to the living room, where Johnny layed sprawled on the sofa. In that one instant her heart shattered, “Oh, it’s you.”
With that being said she left the room, leaving the “other” Johnny and his coke behind her.
