The situation somewhat reminds me of a Ben Elton novel where a woman who bullied a girl with a cleft lip at school was forced to stare at herself with a cleft lip in a mirror (before being killed obviously)

Was it the shoddy plastic surgeon who did this to her or some sadistic revenger?

That last line is painful. People go to such lengths to be ‘perfect’ even though the fact is that real girls aren’t perfect and perfect girls aren’t real.

I find myself wondering who committed the sin.

That was horrendous, really horrid. Nicely done. Seems like a combo of sins there, with her on pride and the doctor on something else, rage maybe.

Wicked descriptions of her twisted face… made me cringe.
