Being a unique person, with a unique ability, I found myself with some choices.

When I first perfected my ability I thought long and hard about how best to use it. I came up with three main possibilities.

1) Be a hero
2) Start a business
3) Be a villain

There’s appeal to each. Being a hero is really good for your self-esteem. People love you, and you really get to give back to the people.

Having a business is much less stressful. Much less pressure. All I would have to do is deliver packages from place to place. Simple, and very profitable.

Then there’s those base desires. I could have anything I want. No waiting, no real work. Rob a bank, launder the money. As long as I could keep my identity unknown I would be free. It’s not like they could catch me for any length of time anyway.

Then I realized that once I was on anyone’s radar someone would decide I wasn’t worth trying to catch, and that my death would be better.
