The little book of horrible truths

You and everyone you know, will die.
He who increases knowledge, increases sorrow.
No matter who you vote for, the government always gets in.
Ignorance really is bliss. Some folks want that bliss, and will lash out if you try to take it away from them. Young teachers don’t believe this. Old teachers know it to be true.
Just when you think you have the world figured out, it will change in ways you didn’t predict and are not prepared for.
If you’re over 40, it’s highly likely that best day of your life is behind you. And you may not even remember it.
The lessons you learned, will probably have to be learned again by your children, because children rarely listen.
The worst thing about stupid people, is that they don’t believe smart people exist.
No matter how much you love someone, when they die, you will eventually have whole days go by when you don’t remember them.
We’re all more crazy than we’d like to think.
Not telling someone you love them is one of the great mistakes in life.
There is no god or afterlife.
