Push Me
My body aches as if dropped from great height, muscles tightening in places I didn’t know muscles existed. My fingers barely hit the right keys as I write down the pain that encompasses my body. The weight of the world in the weight of their words pushed down in the space between my shoulderblades, pressing with immeasurable force.
One more nudge and I fear I will collapse,
Collapse into the void beneath my feet, and I don’t suppose I shall return.
