Wow, I haven’t read any others, but I’d bet that this stands a good chance of winning the Challenge.

Bizarre and weird. It definitely didn’t go where I thought it was going to based on the title. I like that it teases at the question of how people would react to such information, whether we really would embrace the monitoring or not.

The title (in my mind anyway) was supposed to make people think I was doing away with religion, but then surprise them. The song gets a lot of criticism from sensitive theists, and they don’t seem to pay much attention to the final lines in that verse:
Imagine all the people
Living for today.

people are such sheep and worriers.. i bet if we did say they needed to monitor their brains, they would, it would be all the rage!

Wow. It’s strange that that might actually happen. We pay the ultimate price for knowledge, free will. I think that’s what got me here. The monitor would stop them doing anything.

That is my favorite song of all time. Even though the song really didn’t have much to do with the piece, it was still very good. Really made me think.

Agreed with Hobohemian, I love the song! I didn’t expect this story when I read the title but I was pleasantly surprised :)
