My husband is always trying to get our kids to stick up for themselves, but a sharpened stick is really going a little too far. You captured Devin’s emotions very well. Hope this never happens in real life.

A cross between some prison movie and modern-day childhood experiences…made me cringe decidedly. It was very well written, and like browncoatben, I thought it would be another kid…

I like the hints given along the way about Rupert, I think I twigged at the teacher’s whistle but that heightened anticipation. I feel so sorry for Devin, and Mr. Katz of course.
