Really like the interactions between them. Leads you to assume they’re both currently human. Runcubed would hate it. :)

It felt like a scene ripped out of a scifi thriller, which is to say I really liked it.

Now I really want to know the details – the setting that requires a tux but doesn’t make hovering brains stand out as unusual. And the nonchalant delivery of the last line is aces.
