Help
He grinned at me as I ran to him, wrapping my arms around him gratefully.
“I take it you missed me?” he joked halfheartedly.
“I didn’t think you were coming back” I said, tears of joy running down my cheeks.
“Silly girl” he said softly brushing away the tears. He pulled himself free of my embrace and took off his coat. He was holding a hammer. “I said I was gonna get you out and here I am” he said with a grin.
My room was right at the edge of the compound, one of the walls would lead you into an alley way. “You’ll never have enough time!” I exclaimed quietly.
“That’s why I brought help” he said. “The guys out there are all here to help” he explained.
I understood in an instant. This would buy us an hour or so with the amount of guys waiting outside.
Zeke rushed over to the wall and started to gently hammer at the cement holding the old bricks together.
The plan was in action.
