This is painful to read, and I mean that, well, not in a good way, but positively.
Very, very powerful, brooding, dangerous writing – as honest and frank an insight into self harm as I’ve read. The bracketed asides ate interesting – a little distracting perhaps, but clever in adding depth and clarity.
I’m not sure how it made me feel – I couldn’t say I enjoyed it, but it was gripping, and direct, and perhaps most importantly, emotional without angst, so well done indeed – MH :)
