This is brilliant. I love it. My suspicion is that whoever he’s talking to, (up to the reader) is what really informs the peace.

Like, suppose it was Mother Teresa or something. And she’s in hell because, for all her good deeds, she didn’t believe in the right sub-sect of Christianity. And this is Satans explanation to her.

I really like this. I must respectfully disagree with Mostly Harmless and Music-Hearted. I think “See” can be read two ways, and that both ways work well: either Satan is pointing out an example, or it’s his way of starting a conversation, and he’s planning on expounding on the topic further.
