Like, suppose it was Mother Teresa or something. And she’s in hell because, for all her good deeds, she didn’t believe in the right sub-sect of Christianity. And this is Satans explanation to her.
I really like this. I must respectfully disagree with Mostly Harmless and Music-Hearted. I think “See” can be read two ways, and that both ways work well: either Satan is pointing out an example, or it’s his way of starting a conversation, and he’s planning on expounding on the topic further.
