Ferry Man
It had been a long time since His last landfall. This Ferry Man didn’t work well with the surging waves of the crowds. Don’t get me wrong, He would get his shore leave, and He would carouse and brawl and sow His seed. But He wanted a day to adjust, He never liked the stupid Arrival uniforms anyways. Who in their right mind would want to go around looking like a dancing flame anyways?
Looking around at the swirling tides of humanity the Ferry Man was reminded of the forces of nature that he conquered every jump, oh this was on a much smaller scale but He still desired. The feeling of having jumped into the middle of a riled sea was what He lived for. Be it of water, people, or plasma mattered not.
A smile then crept along His lips and alit upon His dark eyes as He stepped away from the lanyards and stepped hollowly towards His quarters.
