Haha… I like the combination of suburban reality mixed with building intrigue. This is really well written, and I’ll read on if you continue.
I love this, it has just the right amount of humor while still managing to convey a bit of seriousness.
Very well done.
This is a very good set-up piece. Plenty of raucous fun mixed with a bit of intrigue. I’m shaving off a pencil only because while the locale is deftly described, it seems like a terrible place to discuss the end of the world.

The choice of location will fit better as it goes on. It’s a theme thing that hasn’t quite filled out yet. But thank you!
haha, awesome! Why not discuss important matters there? It’s got a great view, it’s secluded, and symbolic.
Wow, I was iffy on reading this, only because I skimmed it and felt sort of boring, but I quickly got into it and am curious for more.
I like this very much. Can’t wait to see where it goes!
was it a blue chevy nova?
That sounds like a reference I’m not getting.
Very nice. Could spawn some intresting sequels and prequels.
A lot of people see this as a set up. The way I’ve been thinking about it… I think this is how their story ends.

Now that is an opening that can’t help to catch someone’s interest! Holy cow!
