This is fantastic, I am still giggling at the last line.

Obviously, that last line is gold. However, the rest of the stories grammar stunted my reading a bit.

“But McMurty was determined to fight till the end even if all of the others had long since succumbed”, that line in particular seemed a little wordy, for my taste, but overall, I enjoyed it!

Yeah, it’s a good idea, but it seemed a little clunky.

I still feel like I need to change the last sentence. Whitewalls on a hummer just doesn’t sound right.

hmm, All steel radial tires and new rims? maybe he could dent them, or if the person is driving, they could dent them after the impact. Nice twist at the end.. making him a modern-day Don Quixote.

Sorry to say, but I saw it coming from the first line. (I think I read expecting the twist these days.) Doesn’t mean I didn’t like it, though, particularly the line “the ground slick and black.”

An Outer Limits twist in a very short span. Nice!

Man, how did I miss this one. I love it. The writing flows really well and the humor really shines through.
