A Father’s Sacrifice, A Son’s Future…Part 2

With a roar three orcs rushed at him, Beldrune took one in the throat with his blade and left it gasping for air as its lifeblood ran along the ground. Pivoting on his left foot he caught the second orc’s axe blade with his shield and rammed the creature in the head with a meaty crunch as it stumbled by off balance. He grunted in pain as the club of the third orc glanced off his back. “Stupid.. never leave your back to an enemy,” grunted Beldrune to himself as his blade tore into the face of the orc opening it in a bloody shower.

Beldrune killed many more orcs and battled furiously to save his village. The orcs had come in force this time, Beldrune fought bravely and bought the lives of many villagers with his own blood. He died under the cruel axes and rusty swords of the orc horde.
