True friend
Each day when their eyes met,
she knew the message he had sent.
Laughing, as he left her broken, crying on the floor.
He didn’t care. not anymore.
Day after day, year after year,
her cries were the same, still no one would hear.
Cries soon began to fade,
a life of hurt was being made.
Her cries soon came to an end,
he had her convinced, he was her only friend.
She needed someone to hear, someone to care.
but she remained silent, she ran nowhere.
This to him was just a game,
his sick way to self proclaimed fame.
Each time as she begged him to stop,
He claimed it would never end, he threw her to the floor with a near silent flop.
Each time she believed it more true,
there wasn’t a thing she could do.
The tears stopped, she could no longer cry.
eyes, no matter how dry, she still wished to die.
Now she’s left with a life to mend,
because her brother proved he was her true friend.
