I wonder, if I had not read an old Ficly story about a bunny earlier today, would I have gotten this? Probably ‘hop’ and ‘mate’ would have gotten me there and ‘luck’ would have driven it home. I enjoyed this one despite its darkness, but I do agree about its slight comedic value. Well done JC, keep ’em coming!
