For eons, we Reptiloids have shaped the tide of human history. We brought the Egyptians technology, taught the Mayans about the stars, and nuked Atlantis from orbit when their army of ten-story biomechanical cyclopes threatened to overrun your planet. We regard humanity as a parent would a child; we have become very protective of you, even as we manipulate your national elections to amuse our schoolchildren. And this is why I say this with heavy hearts: we must leave you now. Our cloaked ships have broken your orbit for the first time in 10,000 years, and we here on Earth will soon follow them back to our home dimension.

There comes a time when a baby bird must leave the nest, and that time is now.

Incidentally and completely unrelated, as of this writing a fleet of Tyrolean Death Scorpions is on an intercept course with Earth. Good luck with that. If you survive, please give them our best.
