not sure this came out dark enough, I have trouble with villains..

I like “Fairy magic flew like arrows” Because the way you set the scene you can almost picture there actually being arrows. But you tie that into the fact it is fairies not humans.

Yeah, it wasn’t quite dark enough, and the plot is a little cliche, but still it fills my fantastical brain and I love the images that display across my eyes.

I think I should have gone for the dogs ripping the king and queen to shreds.. hmm.

I sequeled with something darker. Have a look!

Definitely a fun scene to visualize! :)

I don’t understand why the king and queen were already in cages before the battle. Were they being held for ransom? Were the cages supposed to protect them?

That aside, I enjoyed the way you set the scene.

well, in my mind, they were prisoners to be executed, publicly, and what better show than in a cage behind their army, as puppet commanders, sacrificial leaders, I dunno.. it was a dream idea, okay?
