Aye, ampersands can be a pain, but I wasn’t sure if I was gonna need those few extra character spaces :) Thanks for your comments though!

My philosophy with Ficly is that if you need to resort to ampersands to save characters, then you should consider rewriting something to be more efficient. Ampersands really detract from the flow of prose and distract the reader from what’s happening in the story. That said, this is an intriguing setup.

Looking at the flow of the words, I’ve decided that you’re both right and have changed the ampersands XD
