Perhaps his wagon would have fared better if he had hired a native guide instead of trying to ford the river.

Dang, this is fast shaping up into one of the most promising series I’ve seen on Ficly. It started off somewhat silly – Quick Quincey and his horse Abner are not the stuff great legends are made of – but it’s definitely been a must-read. Keep it up!

Nice continuation. I particularly liked the ‘sell-sword’ appellation. Very nice job getting across just how lowly this poor guy is.
